When I first started learning about photography, I read books, watched tutorials and made my own backdrops.  I would practice what I learned on my 1st daughter.  It was VERY time consuming but it was something to help me get through the long winters with a little one while also learning something new.  I don’t do much of that anymore for many reasons but the first is that I don’t have a studio and shooting in natural light without the proper setting is DIFFICULT.  However, I have some loyal followers that have also become friends so if they have a special request and I have the means to accommodate, I will.  Of course, I also can’t resist cute babies so it is hard for me to say no.  I have photographed these two baby cousins (born 3 weeks apart) a couple of times now. I am impressed with how calm and sweet they have been every time I have seen them.  The baby girl’s mom had made the kissing booth (pictured below) for her older niece and asked if we could incorporate it into the photo.  It looked perfect with the simple setup I had.  Adorable right?  How could you not smile after you see these two?!

I know it is only February and we are still in the middle of winter BUT I just wanted to let my readers know that I am working on a spring themed shoot.  I will post more details as they become available.  In the mean time, let’s pray to mother nature that the warmer weather will come sooner rather than later.  Have a great weekend everyone!
